“After all this time?” “Always”
After I was done reading, I dashed to my computer, and to the living room, thumbing through all the news about Harry Potter, I need to find something that I can identify with! I have been avoiding all forms of communication-newspapers, internet. I love predictions, guesses but I don’t like blatant spoilers. I prefer it to be a personal quest when it comes to completing this phenomenal era of wizards, spells, bravery and I guess, in that make-believe world, the ironic sheath of reality. (I couldn’t find any satisfactory article or review yet!) I actually blurted something randomly, instinctively, before combined. It turned out to be very true. I don’t think anybody heard me, maybe sam did. It was more of an adamant affirmation of er, I don’t know, call it the reader’s, the writer’s , the romantic’s instincts? haha! There were also questions posted online which wouldbe resolved in deathly hallows based on that. Yeah, that was one of my favourite parts of the whole book. (maybe it is the favourite part…) I was literally stung by my tears. I was like, oh no, oh no, it is coming, it is coming… The truth! The truth! It must be that… it must that… no other thing will be able to justify… I was right. I cried.
Harry Potter is a book meant for children. That was my first thought after I put down the book. It is a book for everyone. There are no fancy, of course, not even extraordinary prose from the author but I think, Harry potter the character is a manifestation of our heroic ideals(yes, even the adults) yet remaining very real and very flawed in his own sense, not unlike us. We have kind of grown up with the book, haven’t we? Appearances lie. Love prevails. Don’t sink into the bottomless sea of gloom and hopelessness, think of something happy and expecto patronum! (:
————————-spoiler ahead————————
From the tip of his wand, his wand burst the silver doe: she landed on the office floor, bounded once acorss the office and soared out of the window. Dumbledore watched her fly away and as her silvery glow faded he turned back to Snape, and his eyes were full of tears.
“After all this time?”
“Always,” said Snape.
Sadly, the epilogue is really substandard, out of character and very contrived. I wonder what happened to J.K Rowling to have written that! The style, the language were very questionable. Fine, I shall just indulge in the tragic, noble subplot of good ol’Snape. (:

- Her eyes twinkle, and she likes to float around
- She doesn’t blog anymore but she reads mine and is a voyeur, beware. she’s the sweetheart.
- she eavesdrops on people’ conversations in cafes. she is a closet actress.
- She is a funky fashionista. don't mess with her.
- she laughs, then she can’t stop.
- She looks at the world through rose-tinted glass. she has little affinities everywhere.
- she loves natalie portman, absolutely great taste. she’s such a joy to be with!
- she paints the world with a tinge of grey & delights you with her sarcasm. She’s a gem.
- she sings everywhere.
- she smiles and the whole world stops spinning.
- she threatened to throw us out but I still think she is really pretty inside out. ;)
- she’s little but she bites. She’s the quick-witted.
- when she smiles, her eyes disappear. she is weird in her own way, though she refuses to admit.
